The speed controller allows for step-less speed regulation, allowing you to set the saw for different materials and thicknesses. Set at low speed, the band saw operates at 30 meters per minute (MpM) and 88 mpm on high. This benchtop metal cutting band saw can swiftly and efficiently see a wide range of materials, including steel, aluminum, composite cable, angle iron, steel pipe, solid steel, aluminum profiles, PVC pipe, and stainless steel.

Adjustable blade guides attached to the saw head help align the blade and increase its lifetime. The head of the bandsaw pivots, so you don’t have to take the material out of the saw to physically move the saw to the correct angle and then put the material back in, efficiently and labor-saving. Angle cutting, 0-45°swivel bow head, avoids moving heavy material. The material can extend to 26 1/2 inches (680 mm), giving accurate cuts if you have several cuts of the same length.
The base is heavy-duty, thick-gauge pressed steel, which gives the saw a lower center of gravity when it is in the vertical position.
The vice is made from cast iron with a fine-ground finish on the mating surfaces. This allows for smooth clapping of the job and eliminates jaw binding due to too much play in the moving parts.
